Turismo de Galicia is the public entity of the Galician Government responsible for promoting and managing tourism across the region, including the internationally renowned Camino de Santiago.
The capital, Santiago de Compostela, stands as one of the world’s great Christian pilgrimage destinations, alongside Rome and Jerusalem. Both the city and the Camino are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the route was designated the first European Cultural Itinerary by the Council of Europe.
