Schill + Seilacher is a leader in the development and production of specialized and innovative process additives for the rubber industry.

The company's success story began in 1877, when Mr. Christoph Seilacher and Mr. Karl Schill founded their chemical plant and started the production of specialized chemicals for the leather industry. Today, the companies, established over 140 years ago, have a presence on all five continents, producing high-performance and specialized chemical products.

To meet export needs, the company established an additional production facility for specialty chemicals in Hamburg in 1925. Thanks to innovative research and development, their portfolio have been expanded. Initially, market requirements were met by specialized chemicals for textile processing, and soon additives for rubber processing appeared.

Currently, the Hamburg facility develops and produces specialty chemicals for the rubber industry including: lubricants, homogenizers, dispersants, plasticizers, peptizers, adhesion promoters, tackifiers and others. The product range also includes release agents – to be used externally and a wide range of products for latex processors: stabilizers, dispersants, anti-foam products, anti-tack agents, tackifiers, thickeners and others.
