Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego NIEWIADÓW Sp. z o.o.
Niewiadów is the company and the town were in 1920, a decision was made to build a factory, later renamed as Polskie Zakłady Chemiczne "Nitrat." Three years later, in 1923, the construction was completed. Initially, "Nitrat" started to produce TNT and an artificial fertilizer – superphosphate.
During one hundred years of uninterrupted operation, the factory changed owners and name, but never ceased production for the armaments industry.
On December 30, 2020, in the form of a notarial deed, an agreement is signed for the transfer in the form of an in-kind contribution of this organized part of the enterprise to the newly established Company - Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego NIEWIADÓW Sp. z o.o. with its seat at Osiedle Niewiadów 49, 97-225 Ujazd.
In 2022, the company became part of the holding – Grupa Niewiadów Spółka Akcyjna, which brings together Polish entities with a well-established tradition and history of activity in the defense industry.
The company has technical documentation for all offered products, approved by the Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of National Defense, instrumentation and the necessary workshop aids and qualified staff, that guarantees high quality of manufactured products. It has the appropriate concessions and all the necessary permits enabling both the production and trade of special products (concession B-022/2020, PE-EN ISO 9001:2015 – No 1461/S/2022, AQAP 2110:2016 No 1461/A/2022, NCAGE - 9A1WH, WSK No 1461/W/2021) .
The company refers to the historical name of the Plant in Niewiadów, which in 2020 marked the 100th anniversary of its establishment and continues to manufacture products for the needs of our Armed Forces, using various technologies, ranging from TNT production, elaboration, pressing of explosives, pressing pyrotechnic mixtures, producing smoke mixtures to completing and assembling products.
Based on the license documentation owned by the company, the entire family of S5 unguided missiles, i.e. S5K, S5M, S5KO, S5MO, was produced. In addition, GAk-81, GM-81 and RGD-3 smoke grenades, ISA-73, ISA-120, ISA-122, ISA-152, ISA-155 cannon shot imitators, 122 and 152 ammunition, FLAME signal mines, shaped charges UŁK, NT-26 thermal cartridges, P-50 practice bombs, RPG-76 KOMAR grenade launchers, RPG-75 recoilless launchers of thermobaric and anti-tank missiles, and others are offered.
