Solaris Optics S.A. is a Polish precision optics manufacturing company with over 30 years of experience in the field. We offer highly customized solutions and a full production cycle of optical elements from almost all types of optical glasses, quartz glasses, optical ceramics and crystals. Our services include optical design, feasibility studies, then grinding and polishing, centering, thin-film coatings, bonding up to assembling, and high-standard quality control.
We provide a diverse portfolio of products including plane and spherical optics - lenses, mirrors, windows and wedges, filters and polarizes, prisms, beam-splitters, optical assemblies, laser, imaging and infrared optics, and diffusers. We deliver individual optical elements with short lead times as well as accept large orders for long production runs.
Due to high-quality standard of our products, they are used mainly for laser applications, in measurement as well as research optical instrumentation. We support various industries including Defence, Aerospace, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, Bio-Medical, and Research. Solaris Optics has a long history of cooperation with customers from the Defense industry.
We have also been involved in several innovative projects in that field. They include two
projects realized within the European Defense Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP), funded by the European Commission in which Solaris Optics was responsible for the development of technology and manufacturing of prototypes of high-precision optical elements for the telescopes used in defense applications in Earth observation satellite missions.
