Runflat CBR (Combined Beadlock Runflat) have developed the first runflat insert to fit on a normal single piece drop-centre wheel that incorporates full beadlock as well as runflat tyre support.

Working in conjunction with the British MoD a new CBR insert has been developed for extreme use in military/security applications on the 10x20 wheel and 335/80 R20 tyre and this will be displayed at the exhibition alongside a lightweight single piece forged alloy 10x20 wheel. CBR provides the single piece wheel with all the attributes of two-piece wheel and runflat systems, including CTIS compatibility, but in a significantly lighter package, so making the need for heavier two-piece systems redundant. Several new features for the CBR system include sealed lubrication, shock absorption and a friction reducing component for cooler longer runflat.

A CBR lightweight system 4x4 vehicles will also be displayed and these models pass all Finabel standards and have British Standard PAS301-2017 accreditation. With inbuilt beadlock these CBR runflat inserts provide all-tyres-down mobility on the standard single piece wheel and are also CTIS compatible.
