LAS-EXPO 2026. Anniversary marked with innovation and industry meetings

The 25th Timber Industry and Forest Resources Management Fair, LAS-EXPO, confirmed the event's strong position as one of the most important meeting points for the forestry industry in Poland. The exhibition and the accompanying Agrotech agricultural technology trade fair hosted nearly 80,000 people from Poland and abroad.

Technologies for forestry and the timber industry

The exhibition of companies from Poland, Slovenia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Italy focused on modern solutions in timber harvesting, transport and processing, as well as tools for professionals and technologies that support forest management. Demonstrations of machines in action attracted visitors’ attention and enabled practical evaluation of the presented solutions.

Premieres and awards

Industry representatives were also drawn to the premieres showcased at the expo. The Polish presentation of the TigerCat 1165 harvester at the Aurox expo stand aroused great interest – the machine was awarded the Gold Medal at the Targi Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre. Many visitors admired the latest TTX-450 double-shaft disc sawing machine from Amix, designed to be flexibly adapted to the needs of wood processing plants.

The new products galore also included solutions from global manufacturers. The Husqvarna expo stand featured the 564 XP chainsaw with low-pressure fuel injection, which attracted attention, as did the most powerful 590 BTS blower in the range and electric-powered devices, including robotic mowers with Vision technology.

Talk-shop sessions and directions of development

Exhibitors emphasised the great interest in the offer, and the number of business talks held, which provide a basis for cooperation and order fulfilment. The importance of technological innovations and solutions that reduce emissions and noise is growing, which is reflected in visitors' questions and expectations. 

Anniversary of cooperation with the State Forests Holding

The Las-Expo anniversary also marks the 25th anniversary of cooperation with the State Forests National Holding. Dr Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce, expressed gratitude and presented a commemorative medal to the director of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Radom, Mariusz Sołtykiewicz. The Las-Expo has been traditionally held under the auspices of the Director General of the National State Forest Holding.  Each year, the Regional Directorate of National State Forest Holding in Radom organises educational activities, initiatives related to the protection of forest resources, and new directions for the sector's development.

This year's LAS-EXPO underscored the event's importance in showcasing modern technologies, establishing businesses, and exchanging experiences in the forestry sector.
