Forest - Expo - a record-breaking exhibition area and machines working live
The 22nd Timber Industry and Forest Resources Management Fair Las-Expo and the 28th International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH attracted almost 70 thousand visitors and participants. Visitors became familiar of the exhibition prepared by 450 companies from 15 countries, including Finland, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Latvia, Great Britain, Germany and Ukraine. The event began with the performance of the Hunting Buglers Band of the Radom Regional Directorate of National State Forest Holding and students of the Forestry School Complex in Zagnańsk. The artists were accompanied on stage by… falcons.
- Agrotech and Las - Expo are significant events for the agricultural and forestry industries. The latest technology and knowledge presented here impact the sustainable development of non-urbanized areas Andrzej Matysiak - Regional Director of the National State Forest Holding Division in Radom. - Forestry faces significant challenges, such as preparing for the effects of climate change effects. These projects focus on nature protection, in particular wetlands, as well as actions for small water retention, increasing carbon dioxide accumulation, and energy transformation - explained the General Director of the State Forests who has granted the auspices to the Expo.
Specialists discussed these challenges with the visitors at the expo stand of the State Forests.
Forest - Expo - presentations of machines working live
Krpan splitters attracted even amateurs who use wood for heating up their farms. Many spectators also enjoyed demonstrations of chainsaws working live Stihl and Husqvarna experts carved flowers, owls and wolves in wood. This sculpture carving was a show and display of high precision.
Visitors have always appreciated the live demonstrations of devices in action, which make it possible to check the machines' capabilities. On top of that, the specialists described the operation in detail. - The PT-100 bandsaw is used for sawing and cutting logs into boards and scantlings, the panel is used to configure the desired length and width. The machine stores the data and executes the plan - explained Piotr Wieczorek from Amix.
The Las-Expo exhibition area was record-breaking, twice as large as last year's space. And the expo was a full house.
Innovation awards for Las-Expo exhibitors
Modern solutions, both in the machinery and fertilizers domain, were registered by the exhibitors to join the competition, which can win the Targi Kielce Gold Medal for the best products. The gala ceremony was when the winners were awarded the Medals and distinctions. The first day of the Agrotech and Las-Expo witnessed the presentation of prestigious awards to the CZ-1/XP type band saw manufactured by Wirex and the Steyer tractor - a model for municipal works, green areas maintenance, forestry works and industrial applications. The self-propelled professional mowing machine - ILF ALPHA, produced by Energreen from Italy, was also awarded.
