Inspiration, Trends and Networking for the Design Industry

The Architects' Convention is one of the key events of Home & Design, bringing together architects, interior designers and professionals from the design industry who create modern residential, commercial and public spaces on a daily basis.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover the latest trends in architecture and design, explore innovative solutions and view inspiring projects. The Convention programme will also feature expert discussions, presentations and meetings dedicated to the challenges facing contemporary design and its future development.

Convention Host: Katarzyna Ubysz – Interior architect, owner of Paw Pracownia Aranżacji Wnętrz and Paw Design

Katarzyna Ubysz –

Katarzyna Ubysz is an interior architect, artist, graphic designer and trainer based professionally in Kielce. She combines artistic sensitivity, design experience and a practical approach to functionality in her work. For many years, her professional journey has taken her through the worlds of art, design, education and conscious spatial design.

She is a graduate of the Kielce School of Fine Arts, where she completed the Marketing of Works of Art programme with distinction and received an award for the best diploma project. She continued her artistic education at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, where she completed a degree in printmaking. She subsequently developed her passion for space, form and detail by studying Interior Architecture at the University of Arts and Design in Łódź.

For 18 years, she has been designing private interiors, apartments and public spaces, creating arrangements where aesthetics meet functionality and attention to detail defines the character of a place. Her projects draw inspiration from art history, fashion, graphic design and craftsmanship, translating artistic sensitivity into practical, functional solutions. Her work is often complemented by original concepts for furniture, details and interior furnishings.

Education and professional training form an important part of her work. As a CAD Decor software trainer, she specialises in preparing technical and construction documentation. For two years, she conducted training in cooperation with the CAD Decor Studio of Maciej Dańczura, sharing her expertise in the professional preparation of design documentation. She currently collaborates with a company developing CAD Decor software, training participants in the preparation of technical documentation and supporting designers in the conscious and effective use of digital tools. Among others, she has conducted training sessions for OBI designers from across Poland.

Her professional experience also includes publishing and promotional activities within the interior design industry. She was a co-creator of the pilot issue of “Metr na Metr”, a magazine for architects, and has also presented her ideas and perspective on design in interior design magazines.

She collaborates with the Defra by Deftrans brand, participating in training and conceptual projects as well as product design initiatives. As an interior architect, she also works on projects for PSS Społem Kielce, creating modern concepts for traditional milk bars and demonstrating that even everyday functional spaces can gain a new level of quality, aesthetics and character.

Her artistic portfolio includes numerous graphic design projects, including medals created for sporting events, and her work has been presented at exhibitions featuring emerging artists. This experience allows her to approach an interior not merely as an arrangement of functions, but as a composition – with rhythm, proportion, colour and emotion.

Today, as the owner of Paw Pracownia Aranżacji Wnętrz and Paw Design Katarzyna Ubysz, she develops projects that combine art, technology, experience and design intuition. She creates interiors that respond to users' needs, build atmosphere and bring harmony to everyday life.
