EXPO-SURFACE: Where Technology Meets Industry
The EXPO-SURFACE Trade Fair, dedicated to anti-corrosion technologies, surface protection, and industrial coating and painting solutions, and held as part of the Targi Kielce Industrial Spring, once again confirmed the growing importance of this sector in modern industry. The event was part of a series that in 2026 attracted nearly 24,000 professional participants, strengthening its position as one of the key industry meetings in Central and Eastern Europe.
This year's EXPO-SURFACE saw significant growth in both the space occupied and the number of companies present, with the exhibition area at 1,656 m², up from 1,519.5 m² in the previous year. At the same time, the number of participating companies increased from 54 to 76, including 18 co-exhibitors. The event also gained a more pronounced international dimension, bringing together representatives from 10 countries.
Exhibitors presented a broad spectrum of industrial solutions – ranging from coating systems and surface-finishing materials, through surface-preparation technologies, to application equipment and downstream-processing solutions. EXPO-SURFACE is continually evolving as a platform for showcasing technologies that enhance structural durability and improve production efficiency.
One of the strongest features of the event was the live technology demonstrations. At the trade fair, visitors had the opportunity to observe modern coating processes as well as solutions enabling rapid production start-up, including modular, semi-automatic “plug & play” coating line systems. Compact, mobile installations are easy to implement and meet the growing market need for investment flexibility and shorter implementation times.
Industrial painting demonstrations, a permanent feature of EXPO-SURFACE, once again attracted visitors’ attention. Live demonstrations provided direct, hands-on insight into coating application processes and enabled visitors to observe equipment in operation under near-real-world production conditions. It is the practical nature of the event – the opportunity to evaluate technology in action – that remains one of its most important advantages.
A clear direction for industry development, strongly reflected at the trade fair, is the growing importance of solutions aligned with sustainable development principles. Exhibitors presented technologies that reduce material consumption and emissions and minimise the environmental impact of painting processes, while maintaining high coating quality and durability.
EXPO-SURFACE 2026 showed that the surface protection sector is evolving rapidly and increasingly meeting the needs of modern industry – both in terms of production efficiency and environmental requirements. The growing scale of the event and the increasing number of participants confirm that it is currently one of the key areas of investment and technology in the industry.
Exhibitors about EXPO-SURFACE
The Kielce Industrial Spring expo is industry-specific, which is its great advantage. Rösler specialises in processing metal products, and here we have a concentration of companies in this industry, which is why we are happy to participate in this event. Expo-Surface offers the opportunity to meet many prospective business partners, which is very important to us.
Zygmunt Głuchowski, ZJG Industrial and Commercial Cooperation, partner of Rösler
We are a paint-sector industry insider; for several years now, we have noticed an increase in exhibitors in this industry at the Expo-Surface trade fair, and this is the main reason we are exhibiting here. Targi Kielce is very well connected, the location is excellent, and the event is well prepared and organised. Our participation is highly valuable to us.

We exhibit at the Industrial Spring due to the strong interest the expo generates, as it brings together our prospective clients, whom we can meet, talk to, and present our offer to. This event’s advantage is the large number of exhibitors from various industries. The trade fair is very well prepared and offers excellent technical infrastructure in its venues. Moreover, Targi Kielce is well-located, which is another reason we are coming here.
