Metal detectors, cutting-edge field technologies, militaria, drones, and outdoor equipment—all brought together alongside a vibrant community of enthusiasts in one stop shop mode, 21–22 November is when Targi Kielce hosts the inaugural Detektor Expo**—a new event of its kind, setting a fresh standard for the Polish market.
This is Poland’s first trade fair for the detection industry, combined with a meeting of detectorists using electronic devices. The event has been created with the rapidly growing community of hobbyists, professional explorers, and all enthusiasts of history, technology, and outdoor activity in mind.
Detector Expo goes beyond a community of detectorists and history enthusiasts, reaching into the broader market of detection technologies. The event provides a platform for companies, experts, and organisations involved in exploration, collecting, numismatics, and the discovery of the past. At the same time, it brings together providers of solutions used in industry, security, and manufacturing—wherever detection supports quality control, safeguards processes, and enhances safety.
New market. New community. New prospects and possibilities
Detector Expo is where manufacturers, distributors, and specialist retailers meet one of the most engaged hobby communities in Poland. On over 5,000 square meters of exhibition space, leading brands from the following sectors will present their offer:
metal detectors,
drones and field electronics,
militaria,
archaeology and exploration,
optics,
outdoor equipment.
A key added value of the event is its co-location with the Fishing and Survival Festival, which significantly expands the audience reach and further enhances the commercial potential for exhibitors.
A trade fair and rally combined in one formate
It is precisely this unique combination of a professional trade fair and an active community rally that sets Detector Expo apart from other events in Poland.
The agenda includes
field-based search activities on a dedicated search field,
meetings and integration of the community,
expert speeches on stage,
equipment presentations,
demonstrations of modern field technologies.
As a result, exhibitors gain more than just a standard exhibition space—they have direct access to real-world users of their equipment, highly engaged enthusiasts who actively develop their hobbies and regularly invest in new technologies.
The event created together with the community
The event is co-organised by the Kalisz Association of History Traces Seekers "Denar", which has been actively involved in exploration and the historical community for years.
The combination of Targi Kielce's experience and practitioners’ knowledge creates the foundation for an event that aspires to become the most important meeting point for the detection industry in Poland.
Detector Expo – A must-attend event
The growing popularity of field searching, exploration, and modern technologies is fostering a large and highly active community around the industry. Detector Expo is where this community will meet for the first time on such a large scale.
For exhibitors, this is an opportunity to enter a new market segment, build brand recognition, and drive sales within a community that lives and breathes its passion year-round.
