The Region represents AGROTRAVEL 2014 expo's Partner State

Every year the International Fair of Rural and Agricultural Tourism AGROTRAVEL has the Partner State. The 6th expo edition is held in partnership with Ukraine's Vinnytsia Oblast.

Vinnytsia region is unique owing to its favourable climatic conditions and geographical location. These areas boast proud history, unique traditions as well as cultural and national customs. Vinnytsia Oblast is situated in the center of Ukraine; this has had a positive impact on the region's comprehensive development.

The Oblast is famous for its valuable mineral water springs used for medical purposes. City Khmilnyk is a well known spa and resort; it has gained the fame home and abroad thanks to water radon. Vinnytsia Region comprises 338 protected areas. These are natural monuments recognised on national and local scale, parks, landscape art which dates back to the eighteenth and early nineteenth century. In Vinnytsia Oblast there are numerous archaeological, architectural and urban planning, history, culture, ethnography monuments; they have been carefully collected and put on display in municipal and rural museums. Beyond any doubts, Vinnytsia Oblast's main tourist attraction is the National Nikolai Pirogov Estate Museum. Pirogov was a pronounced scientist and surgeon whou would spend the last five years of his retirement here. Tourists also find the National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Busza" in Yampil Ra ion extremely attractive. The castle complexes in Busza, Bar Ozarincje, Murowani Kuryliwci, Chmielnik and Iwanow are the region's most valuable monuments of the architectural heritage Famous Potocki Family Palace in Tulchyn dates from 18th; its history is associated with the Stanislaw Potocki's and his wife Zofia Potocka's name. One of the curiosities which generate an avid interest among tourists is the crater near the village Lugow in Ilinetsk Raion, which was created after the meteorite impact.

Vinnytsia Oblast boasts ideal conditions for rural tourism and agro-tourism development; this ecological form of pastime has been gaining increased popularity. The number of private agrotourism farms - rural tourism service providers increases every year. Tourists can take a break from civilization and city turmoil and experience the village life, they can also enjoy Ukrainian people's hospitality, taste the world-famous Ukrainian organic food and cuisine.
