The objective of the second edition of the contest “Better side of plastics” has remained unchanged. It is a better promotion of the business sector of plastics on the Internet as well as the development of www companies.

Similar to its previous year edition the contest generated a great interest, 74 companies which took part in the competition scored the total number of 22 thousand votes of the internet users. The jury panel compose of Plastech.pl portal representatives firs and foremost examined:

• Up-to date information (how often the website is updated),
• Content (how precise the information on the website is ),
• Availability (positioning in the search engines),
• Typography (transparency, colours, photography, etc.).

TUPLEX, the producer of composites, insulations and construction plastics, was ranked first with the average score of 8.9 points; and this result placed the company in the position of the leader. The internet users assessed this website with the average score of 3.9 and the experts with the score of 5.0. The jury panel recognised the up-to-date information and the accuracy of the information the website provides. Radosław Rymanowski of the Plastech.pl portal highlights the fact that the website provides unique information which is not available in any other internet service. The website thus becomes a valuable source of information about the company and from the perspective client’s point of view this element is particularly important.

The contest organiser is the Plastech.pl portal. The event has been granted with the honorary patronage of Azoty Tarnów and Drewek Recykling Plastics.
