If you do not have plans for Sunday afternoon on April 17, you are most welcome to join the Season inauguration at the Old Town Square in Sandomierz. 

The event held under the banner of:  "The power of the Republic."  The Sandomierz Knights Company returns from the Battle of Vienna 1683.

The meeting's programme:

•  14.00 Parade of Sandomierz Knights Company - Sandomierz Governor Joseph Lubomirski's winged cavalry troops and the  Infantry  of Colonel Stefan Bidziński - Janina coat of arms

- King Jan III Sobieski triumphant entry

- King's speech

• 14.30 Opening of the tourist season - Marek Bronkowski, Mayor of Sandomierz
• 14.40 National and a foreign infantry shows

•  15.00 Performance of Sando All Stars accompanied by Sandomierz Studio Song
   - Jubilee Performance "11 years of Sandomierz Brass Band"
•  16.40 John Paul II Square - winged cavalry presentations
   - lance, sword and sabre fight performances by Sandomierz Regiment  of Governor Joseph Lubomirski's winged cavalry troops
