THOUSAND YEARS OF JEHOVA WITNESSES IN TARGI KIELCE

The annual Jehovah's Witnesses Convention was held last weekend in Targi Kielce. This year's event was held under the banner of "Do not give up".

- They came both from Kielce and Świętokrzyskie Voivodsship as well as towns in the vicinity of the province such as Radom and Szydłowiec – Marek Sycs, deputy press-spokesman. - There are 120,000 Jehovah's Witnesses in Poland, more than 8 million globally.  In Kielce, there are 5 congregations of around 100 members each. The members of this apolitical religion meet twice a week.

The meeting is the consecutive assembly held at Targi Kielce. This year's edition has proven to be record-breaking.  More than 4,000 Jehovah's Witnesses were brought together in the E Expo Hall of the Kielce exhibition centre.
