2018 edition featured forklifts operators. Forklifts are indispensable in fruit and vegetable production, they are used for harvesting, in fruit sorting facilities, in refrigeration halls and warehouses.

The forklift operator competition consisted of two parts. The contest participants had the opportunity to try their hand with the use of the two forklift trucks  - UniCarriers: PS 125 series and TX3-15 series.   

The competition organisers have constructed the obstacle track consisting of numerous hurdles. Ten participants competed in the manoeuvres competition. Having completed the test run, each of them received a gift from the  Polsad. The first three places were honoured with a clothing package. The best three players achieved similar test times.Below there are the competition results:

• The first place - 5.42 min - Patryk Bogdalski
• The second place - 5,49 min.- Szymon Szewczyk
• The third place - 5,49 min.- Sebastian Stępiński

4.The Fruit and Vegetable Technologies Expo HORTI-TECH was an excellent opportunity to meet high-class experts owing to the fact that the expo is the whole business sector’s one stop shop.
