This Saturday Targi Kielce Congress Centre welcomes chess enthusiasts from all across the Poland to participate in a chess tournament. The players pool has been divided into age categories. The youngest contestants are 6 years old, and the most mature are few times older. Swietokrzyskie Chess Federation and Targi Kielce have earmarked 5000 PLN for awards.

This tournament is one in the series of five held from September 2014 to February 2015. This is the Swiss-tournament system of nine rounds in the following groups A - OPEN B - up to 18 years old, and C - up to 10 years old.

Meetings of this kind are designed to popularize the game of chess as it promotes and facilitates comprehensive development.  It is a good memory, abstract and logical thinking as well as spatial imagination developer. Therefore it stimulates intellect development, boosts mental activity and prods creative abilities.
