The Plastics industry in Poland and Europe conference opens the Plastpol show

29 april 2024
Doctor Engineer Anna Kozera-Szałkowska, Managing Director of Plastics Europe Polska, and experts will present data related to the current situation of the Polish plastics industry and the Europe-wide context

The information is prepared based on the latest industry reports and current data from the Central Statistical Office. The most important industry challenges related to the changing plastics legislation will also be put in the limelight. The Plastpol opening conference will start at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 May in the E-3 capsule in Expo Hall E. All visitors and exhibitors can participate.

The PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation also prepares the  "How will the plastics system in Europe change by 2050?" exhibition, a part of the Plastpol. In Kielce exhibition and congress centre expo halls will display boards with information; check the answers to questions on what the plastics system in Europe will look like in 2050, what will be the market share of biomass plastics, how much plastics will come from recycling, how CO2 emissions of the plastics system will decrease. The exhibition will therefore be dedicated to "The Plastics Transition" – the industry roadmap to a circular and net-zero emission plastics system in Europe by 2050.

The Targi Kielce’s 28th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL is held in Targi Kielce from 21 to 24 May 2024. Registration for visitors and ticket sales continues on targikielce.pl/plastpol
