At the last year's Educational Fair the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship's Marshal's Office was familiarised with the MERIDIAN publishing house offer. MERIDIAN is the producer of educational aids including multimedia atlases for history, geography and natural sciences classes - the atlas can be used with interactive white-boards as well as in computer workshops and on single PC workstations.

The cooperation has resulted in the Voivodeship pilot programme designed to supplement modern, multimedia educational aids and resources at school and educational and culture institutions including the Multimedia Atlas. The Programme is in a sense a continuation of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship campaign designed to enhance teaching aid resources with cutting edge products.

On 19th March 2014 the Voivodeship authorities and the MERIDIAN publishing house concluded the cooperation agreement; pursuant to the contract the publishers are to supply 1,830 free of charge multimedia atlases which are the subject of further distribution for the schools' and educational centres' use as well as for the Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship's public libraries. The product comes with the authentic certificate - a guarantee that the Atlas copy is genuine and legal and thus can be copied within the educational institution. The agreement also states that the Atlases can be used as prizes in specific subjects' school contests as well as didactic materials for methodology trainings and other sessions targeted at teachers. This atlas will also supplement libraries and will thus be available for library readers. This can also be used for promotional purposes.

The Atlas will be distributed by the Swietokrzyskie Centre for the Teacher-in-Service Training in Kielce, Voivodeship Pedagogical Library in Kielce, Voivodeship Witold Gombrowicz Public Library in Kielce.
