The first National Forum of Industrial Investments included the awarding ceremony of the Industrial Investment of the Year competition organized by the Investment Areas Info service. Targi Kielce won the third place in the category of Investment of the Year in Eastern Poland. 

The best investment was selected upon its location in the regions poorly utilised by investors, the number of jobs created in relation to it and the impact on the further region's development. The competition objective has been to select the best industrial investments of 2014. The most interesting investments were selected by the jury panel composed of the representatives of the Business Centre Club, the Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management and the Association of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centres in Poland. A few dozens of companies joined the competition.
