"The new EU financial perspective offers good prospects for the industry. We shall realize the projects now open and we shall initiate many new activities. This is the time of optimism and I am pleased that the events like Kielce's AUTOSTRADA create a great platform for discussions, experience and knowledge exchange, "- said Tomasz Rudnicki in his opening speech at the Targi Kielce's road construction industry exhibition. The 21st International Fair of Road Construction Industry  AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA accompanied with the four industry exhibitions - MASZBUD, ROTRA, TRAFFIC-EXPO-TIL and this year's debut expo Europarking  are Poland's largest business-sector expo in addition to the fact that this is also one of the most important exhibitions in Europe. This year's Kielce road-engineering festival has brought together over 400 companies from 23 countries from all around the world - the showcase their offers on almost 20,000 square meters of the exhibition space. They have brought to Kielce modern equipment, vehicles, machines, innovative technologies and knowledge with expertise. The trade shows enjoy the support of Poland's leading institutions which also support the expo organisation. The supporters list includes the GDDKiA, the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Road Construction Industry, Road and Bridge Research Institute and the Polish Chamber of Steelworks. "We are pleased to hear that the General Director declares his willingness to engage in dialogue with companies and contractors - it is very important to us. We need to remember that the investments success translates into business success - and vice versa. We possibly cannot repeat the situation from the previous financial perspective" said Adam Kulikowski, the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Road Construction Industry's President.  

An important début with a comprehensive offer

For the first time in its history the road-engineering exhibition is accompanied with the EUROPARKING Exhibition. The exhibition will be the showcase for traffic management systems solutions, monitoring systems and CCTV. The trade show will introduce the expo guests to the secrets of the parking structure and construction as well as surfaces creation. The parking-system focussed Expo programme includes the conference on "Parking problems  in urbanised areas" organised by the RP Association on of Transport Technicians and Engineers - Cracow Division and the Cracow University of Technology.

This year's event's programme includes, for the first time the Infrastructure Innovation Congress organized under the scope of Agreement to enhance the image of the road engineering.

The Infrastructure Innovation Congress objective is to present the most cutting-edge and innovative products and technologies utilised by the road and bridge construction business sector and the related industries.  Among the thematic panels of the début Congress there are, inter alia, "Pavings of tomorrow - technologies - examples of the most interesting realizations in Poland" and "Nanotechnology in road construction". The organizers' intention is not only to make the event interesting content-wise and inspirational when it comes to the business-insiders, but also to show the road engineering sector through the prism of innovations and knowledge-base.  Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways have granted the Congress their patronage.

This year's  expo is held until 15 May.
