23 september 2009
METAL - a major trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe to start in just a week

METAL

The 15th International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL will be held from 29 September to 1 October 2009. Among the exhibits put on display by almost 300 companies from 23 countries will be special equipment, furnaces, metalworking machines as well as auxiliary tools. Thus, all the participants will find something for themselves: visitors – a whole range of products, exhibitors – new markets. The location of this fair (near the eastern border of the EU) provides companies from the East and the West with an excellent platform for exchanging experience and establishing co-operation. The Kielce METAL fair enjoys membership of the UFI – Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, which brings together the world's most prestigious fair events. The fair is organized in partnership with the Foundry Economic Chamber, the Polish Foundrymen’s Technical Association, and the Foundry Research Institute.

METAL will be held simultaneously with the 8th International Fair of Aluminium & Technology, Materials and Non-ferrous Metal Products ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET and the 10th Fair of Industrial Measuring Technology CONTROL-TECH.

Each year these events are visited by over 3,300 industry professionals and prospective business partners, including delegations from foundry companies operating in countries such as Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia. Visitors represent 20 countries, with the largest number of people coming from Ukraine, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Germany. All these fairs are accompanied by numerous trade meetings and scientific conferences.
