The Solaris Bus & Coach S.A press conference was held within the scope of the 11th International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO. Not only did the board present the company’s latest achievements and new ideas, and achievements such as supply contracts for 100 Solaris Urbino 18 to Izmir, 120 busses and trolley-busses to Bulgaria in addition to 200 Urbino 18 to Belgrade, but also boasted the expansion of its largest facility in Sroda Wielkopolska. The new workshop will allow to increase production of steel constructions used in public transport vehicles.

The company also proudly presents its achievements in the fields of social corporate responsibility. Solaris has opened the nursery “Under the Green Dachshund” – this new scheme has been crafted around the personnel’s children’s needs. Another initiative is the vocational training class under the auspices of Solaris – it has been designed to develop skills of future Solaris staff. The first group of graduates has already been employed in Solaris works. In addition to the above, Solaris has also joined “Grasz o Staż” (Game for apprenticeship open … ), - the winner has joined the Solaris Technical Bureau as a trainee.
