The B&T Police Carbine (APC) Parabellum in 9x19 calibre is a brand new construction; a small and handy carbine construction has been based upon effective and tested solutions. It has been designed for modern police troops and law reinforcement units.

Weapons used by police forces must comply with a whole series of functions and remain universal at the same time in order to be used in special missions. APC is the right choice.

This is a user friendly carbine. A user, having received a brief training, can use it in an easy, safe and effective way. The switches can swiftly adjust it to be used by left and right-handers. Any police unit can also use it as a training gun.

On a global scale APC is one of the lightest and the most compact carbine ever produced. The carbine has a whole array of equipment and accessories which the law reinforcement units have demanded for years.

The standard equipment consists of:
- an optical gun sight AIMPOINT which makes possible to tak the aim in a precise and comfortable way,
- a foldable butt for easy transport,
- four independent NATO standard rails (located at 3, 6, 9 and 12 clock positions) ready to couple extra accessories,
- reliable, semi-transparent magazines for 15, 20, 25 and 30 bullets (the same magazines as the ones used in B&T - MP9’PDW),
- foldable mechanical aiming mechanisms,
- the barrel is compatible with a standard, 3 groove silencer,
- a multiple-point bearing belt,
- a reload lever for a left-handed and right-handed gunners

The carbine is also produced in the Simunition system compatible version. The APC carbine has also a unique gas release valve which reduces the standard 9 mm ammunition speed to the subsonic speed which allows for maximum silencing of the shots. This solution is very important since it reduces the possibility of a damage made to the weapon by police officers and instructors and special force members in particular as they practice shooting more often than regular police people.
