Plastpol medals and distinctions - the awarding ceremony!

On the second day of the Plastpol Expo, we witnessed the Platinum Plast gala, where medals and distinctions were awarded for the best products and epxo stands. Awards in the Omniplast competition were also presented. For the first time in history, a woman, Marta Tryc from KRAIBURG TPE, was pronounced a winner

The companies awarded medals at the Plastpol Expo:

Category - Plastics - converting machines and appliances - the medal winners

  • - Wittmann Battenfeld Polska LLC from Grodzisk Mazowiecki - for the EcoPower 110/350 DC injection moulding machine
  • TOOLS FACTORY for the ENERGYLINE vacuum thermoforming machine.
  • WADIM PLAST and TAHARA MACHINERY for a fully electric TAHARA extrusion blow moulding machine

Category - Plastics processing tools and equipment - the medal winners

  • DOPAK company from Wrocław for an electricity-saving system for hydraulic injection moulding machines

Category: Plastic products and plastic products application - medal winners

  • AZOTY GROUP SA for innovative materials for additive technologies

Category - Plastics and auxiliary materials for prlastics processing - the medal winners:

  • BEDECO EUROPE manufacturer and distributor of additives for plastics processing for the BIOCOMPOZYTY product line.

Category of: Special techniques (measuring, computer-based, etc.) - medal winners

  • BIO PLAST POM in cooperation with the Gdańsk University of Technology for a biodegradable compostable material based on potato starch.

  • KRAIBURG TPE for TPE with EPDM adhesion
  • ALOXE POLSKA from Warsaw for Origo Cristal – PET regranulate.

 

Category - Plastics Processing Technologies - distinctions winners

  • WADIM PLAST and TAHARA  MACHINERY for modern Co-Ex heads for multi-layer products extrusion, enabling production with up to 60% of the filling layer, up to 6 layers.
  • BOLE EUROPE Technology for Thixomolding: magnesium alloy injection technology

  • PL from Zgierz for a biodegradable and compostable string fastener

The winners of the Omniplast competition were also announced during the gala;

the prize for third place and a discount voucher worth PLN 4,000 net amount went to Mr. Piotr Matusiak from Wittman Battenfeld Polska. Runner up won the prize of PLN 6,000. Mr. Łukasz Kantor, representing Grupa Azoty, was happy with his achievement.  The main prize - a statuette and a discount voucher worth PLN 8,000 net for taking first place in the OMNIPLAST 2024 Competition went to Mrs. Marta Tryc from KRAIBURG TPE.

Plastpol Expo is the perfect place to appreciate companies celebrating their anniversaries. 40th anniversary in business is celebrated by  Polimarky, ; the company was honoured with a commemorative diploma during the gala.

ML Polyolefins, Central and Eastern Europe’s largest PP regranulate producer and one of the leading European suppliers of plastic products for households, Keeeper Group, signed a cooperation agreement at the Plastpol Expo in Kielce.
