Passengers getting on-line on each bus

23 september 2010
Mobile HOTSPOT is another hit with the visitors of TRANSEXPO

Internet BOX developed by the Drabpol company provides Internet access both on urban buses and tourist coaches

Internet BOX, a mobile HOTSPOT, is designed for both urban buses and tourist coaches. Being small and compact, it also guarantees reliability and user satisfaction. Developed by the Drabpol company, Internet BOX provides a WiFi access to the Internet. Two independently operating UMTS/3G modems ensure that you are on-line at all times.

This system has been applied, among other facilities, in five buses of the Swarzęc commune, and as yet it has proved itself. Its range amounts to as much as 300 metres.

Unrestricted access to the Internet in the office or during a business trip has become a prerequisite for effective work carried out by business persons and students. Significant interest in this service is also increasingly voiced by those using other means of transport. Therefore the Drabpol company, an exhibitor of TRANSEXPO, has offered those making up this segment of the market a reliable system for getting on-line in their vehicles - WLAN (Wi-Fi).

The International Fair of Local Public Transport TRANSEXPO is unquestionably the largest event of this kind in Poland and in this part of Europe. TRANSEXPO annually brings together the largest players on this market, featuring the best-selling and new products, as well as international unveiling presentations. And the year 2010 seems to be especially interesting in this respect.
