23 June 2025
From June 21 to 22, Expo Hall 6 of Targi Kielce was transformed into a magical place that transported guests straight to the heart of Japan. The two-day Ningyo – Japanese Market event was very popular, with visitors flocking to experience the culture and traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun

Over 50 carefully selected exhibitors from all over Poland and Japan itself awaited visitors with a rich offer that included Japanese teas and sweets, hand-sewn kimonos, ceramics, as well as gadgets related to Japanese pop culture - from anime to samurai classics. The show was open to everyone - lovers of Japan, gamers, collectors, and families with children.

Each day of the event was filled with incredibly diverse attractions; the audience could learn basic Japanese phrases and interesting facts by participating in language and cultural workshops. The Japanese market featured spectacular martial arts shows, including karate, aikido, kenjutsu, and batto jutsu. The samurai fighting demonstrations prepared by the Third Mercenary Japanese Infantry Unit enjoyed great interest.  There was also an abundance of artistic and entertainment attractions – the Rakugo theatre "One Voice, a Thousand Faces", presentations of sumi-e painting, lectures on the phenomenon of Japanese vinyl records and a colorful Japanese party on the stage. Culinary accents completed the whole experience – during Sunday’s presentation “Ramen, sushi and rice”, one could learn more about traditional dishes that have been conquering taste buds all over the world for years.

The atmosphere of the event was filled with positive energy, and the variety of attractions and unique offers from exhibitors made Ningyo - Japanese Market a lasting impression on visitors. Targi Kielce has once again proven to be a place where cultures meet and experiences inspire.
