New opportunities await Polish companies at Kids' Time! Benefits of cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency?
This collaboration can increase the presence of Polish children's brands abroad and strengthen the Kids' Time Trade Fair's position as an export and educational platform for the entire sector.
PAIH – a global partner of Polish business
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has supported Polish entrepreneurs in their foreign expansion and promoted the domestic economy worldwide for years. PAIH creates a coherent ecosystem of business support – from export consulting and trade missions to the promotion of the Polish Economy Brand, including at international trade fairs and industry events. The Agency's key asset is its network of Foreign Trade Offices (ZBH), present in over 50 countries across five continents and serving over 70 foreign markets. Owing to these offices' presence, Polish entrepreneurs have direct access to markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East, and North and South America. PAIH experts from these offices support companies with information, advice, and contacts with contractors, as well as in overcoming local administrative, legal, and cultural barriers.
Regional Trade Offices complement the PAIH's offer, strengthening the activities of Foreign Trade Offices worldwide. Regional Sales Offices (RBH) – local representatives operating in 18 locations across the country - are the first point of contact. These regional PAIH offices are where the export preparation process begins. PAIH Regional Trade Offices actively participate in and organise numerous meetings, conferences and networking events, enabling entrepreneurs to learn about the Agency's offer, exchange experiences, and establish contacts with partners in Poland and, through Foreign Trade Offices, also abroad. RBH also cooperates with business environment institutions (BSIs) and local government units (LGUs) to build local support networks.
Cooperation within PAIH among regional offices, headquarters, and foreign missions, as well as with entrepreneurs and the local business environment, creates a synergistic effect, reflected in numerous initiatives supporting exports. Collaborating with the Agency offers an opportunity to reach global markets. And the first step is at your fingertips in our region, close to Polish entrepreneurs. Thus, the Kids' Time Trade Fair in Targi Kielce, for the first time in its history, becomes part of the global network promoting the Polish economy. PAIH's involvement provides Polish children's product producers with an opportunity to reach potential buyers worldwide.
New perspectives for exhibitors – from presentation to real export
The auspices of PAIH means not only prestige, but also tangible benefits for fair participants. The Agency does not limit itself to a symbolic role; it actively engages in activities to help companies start or expand export activities. The next Kids' Time will feature a presentation by RBH PAIH Kielce and a discussion panel with the participation of experts from PAIH Foreign Trade Offices, during which they will present the specificity of selected markets and answer key questions from entrepreneurs:
- - What are the customer preferences in selected foreign markets;
- - What are the entry barriers to selected markets;
- - What are the best models for entering these markets;
- - What are the preferred purchasing channels, formal and legal requirements, certificates, and standards for children's products in selected markets?
B2B meetings with foreign buyers are also planned, enabling direct interactions. Thanks to this, the trade fair will gain not only an exhibition dimension but also a real commercial one and will become a place where Polish products find their first foreign customers. There will also be an opportunity to talk to PAIH experts on-site. Cooperation with PAIH enhances Targi Kielce's credibility as an institutional partner in the eyes of both the business community and public administration. This is a signal that the event is of strategic importance and part of Poland's economic promotion policy.
Polish SMEs need knowledge and support – PAIH responds to these needs
According to the report "Trends in the SME and e-commerce sector," prepared by DPD Polska and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, 70% of SMEs view international expansion as an opportunity to increase revenue by accessing new markets and customers. For 1 in 3 companies, it is also a way to build a brand with global recognition. However, despite the significant potential, many entrepreneurs still fear the costs and complex procedures of exporting. Fifty-nine per cent cite excessive shipping costs, 50 per cent cite legal and tax complications, and 39 per cent cite difficulties with returns and complaints regarding goods from abroad. For 47%, the risk of a dishonest contractor is a threat.
Polish entrepreneurs have enormous potential, experience and innovation, which increasingly naturally open their companies to export. However, in the dynamic day-to-day operations of running a business, there is not always room to plan the next step in expansion into international markets. The role of PAIH Regional Trade Offices is to support entrepreneurs at this stage – strengthening their ambitions through reliable information, expert advice and assistance in assessing export potential, preparing expansion strategies and safely starting operations in new markets – said Katarzyna Świderska, Director of Regional Cooperation at PAIH.
Polish child products and services business sector - time to export
The child products and services business sector in Poland is one of the most dynamic sectors in the FMCG market and light industry. Polish companies are increasingly focusing on design, innovation, safety, ecology, and their products successfully compete with Western brands. Owing to the support of PAIH, Kids' Time may become the birthplace of export successes for many of them. Targi Kielce is thus becoming a bridge between Polish creativity and the global market. As PAIH emphasises, "Europe is today a global village," and thanks to cooperation with the Agency, Polish companies have a real opportunity to become leaders in quality and innovation in the children's goods industry in this village.
