The opening ceremony of the International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA included optimistic forecasts for road engineering sector. Not only is 2014 the jubilee, 20th edition of the AUTOSTRADA, but first and foremost the opening of the new financial perspective for road engineering projects; the new perspective finishes in 2020. This is information for the business sector which has been brought together at Targi Kielce’s annual event.

- Next year will bring about the jubilee edition of Poland’s leading and major exhibition. But next year will also mark the opening of the new financial perspective. This will be the opening procedure for investment which are co be completed by 2020 – said Lech Witecki, the General Director for National Roads and Motorways. – This is a good signal for the business sector. Within the last two years the service quality has significantly increased. This translates into less money spent on renovations which also means better road quality and happier drivers.

AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA is much more than equipment exhibition and dynamic presentations. The trade fair programme also encompasses presentations of remote-control mowers and gigantic road transport appliances in addition to a whole array seminars and symposiums focused upon, inter alia, overloaded vehicle problems organised by the Road and Bridge Research Institute, Silesia University of Technology, Polish Economic Chamber of Road Construction Industry and Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining.
