International Firefighter's Day - 4 May 2023

In just over a month, Targi Kielce will host the meeting of professionals - this fellowship ranks first in the social trust ranking, ahead of nurses, workers and miners. Today firefighters celebrate their holiday firefighters celebrate their holiday on 4 May; this has been the many-year tradition for this professional group; rescue services convene at their dedicated event. The International Fire Protection & Rescue Exhibition Kielce IFRE-EXPO is held at Targi Kielce from 15 to 17 June

The opinion polls on public trust in public services conducted in 2015 by the Central Office of Statistics show that the work of a firefighter enjoys the greatest respect among citizens. Polish society’s 94% of respondents indicated firefighters as trustworthy people and who are characterised by high professional ethics. This is seven percentage points more than two years earlier;  in the CBOS 2013 report, 87% of respondents declared trust in firefighters and fire brigades.

It is, therefore crucial that firefighters are well equipped and safe while performing their professional duties. The IFRE EXPO”S product and service range includes rescue and fire-fighting equipment, fire vehicles used for fire extinguishing and for special purposes, fire-suppression and neutralisation agents, protective equipment and clothing for special services units.

Firefighters in action! Dynamic shows attracted crowds of spectators
The spectacular live show prepared by the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Services was the commencement of the dynamic shows during the three days of the IFRE-EXPO. The expo showcases firefighters’ daily work, often assisted by helpful pets in various life-threatening situations.

Money for Little Firefighters!
Do you remember the amazing performances of little firefighters from Stąporków and Wieruszów staged at Targi Kielce IFRE-EXPO? These valuable initiatives, i.e. Youth and Children's Firefighting Teams, have just received funds. PLN 25 million has been earmarked at the general budget reserve.
