Index-ENEX – a new series of expert summaries of the most important events in the energy industry

11 June 2026
Each month, we'll publish Index-ENEX on the ENEX website – a proprietary overview of the most important events, trends, and decisions that influence the development of the energy sector in Poland and Europe. Commentary and analyses will be provided by renowned journalists, industry experts, and representatives of energy-related organisations and associations.

The aim of the project is to provide a reliable, expert perspective on the dynamic energy market – from renewable energy sources through energy storage to electromobility and new technologies.

In this first edition of Index-ENEX, we look at two important areas of energy transformation.

Michał Murawiński , a journalist from TVN Turbo, discusses the electromobility market. He highlights the record-breaking funding for the Greenway network, as well as Greenway's status as the largest operator of electric vehicle charging stations in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. The over PLN 586 million in funding is intended to support the further expansion of charging infrastructure, marking another step in the development of electromobility in the region.

Barbara Adamska, President of the Polish Energy Storage Association, comments on the situation in the energy storage market. As the expert emphasises, May 2026 will bring breakthrough investments and decisions for the sector – from the launch of large-scale energy storage facilities to record-breaking investment projects to new support programs for heat storage. All of this demonstrates that energy storage is becoming a key pillar of a modern energy system.

We invite you to follow the next editions of Index-ENEX – a series that will provide the most important information and expert commentary on the energy market every month.
