Gratitude to President Franaszek for years of cooperation and commitment to the development of the foundry industry!

On Friday, 15 December is marked with a very touching moment. The retirement farewell to the president of the Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen, an icon of the foundry industry and a long-time partner of the METAL expo, Tadeusz Franaszek. The National Foundry Day in Krakow, celebrated every year in December, offered the opportunity to hold the function.

– One of Tadeusz Franaszek's biography pages is written together with Targi Kielce. The success of the METAL International Fair of Technologies for Foundry results from the hard work of many people, but your quarter-of-a-century presence  has been an invaluable support, for which I would like to thank you once again for. - wrote the President of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń, in a congratulatory letter. The ceremony,  commemorative painting with a special dedication was presented by the director of the METAL Expo project, Piotr Pawelec on behalf of the entire team of the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. Tadeusz Franaszek became the honorary president of STOP; during the ceremony he also received the Professor Józef Szczepan Suchy Medal from the President of WFO (World Foundry Organization), Mr. José Javier González Estévez, and congratulations from the President of Foundry-Planet, Mr. Thomas Fritsch.

A Pole appointed the member of the new CAEF authorities
Last weekend, the CAEF Council meeting was held in Sofia, Bulgaria; a new composition of the Management Board was appointed.
