GERMAN CINEMAWEEK FOR THE FIRST TIME IN KIELCE

01 december 2014
We are looking forward to your joining the unusual film presentations series

German Consulate General in Krakow invites for the German Film Week. This is a real treat for all enthusiasts of good cinema and films.

The film festival will be available for residents of Krakow, Rzeszow, Wroclaw Katowice, Poznan, Opole, Zielona Góra, and Kielce. Kielce will for the first host the event. Kielce inhabitants are also encouraged and invited to participate in this extraordinary meeting by the Targi Kielce CEO and President Andrzej Mochoń, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The festival will include the 7 latest productions. This year's program encompasses the two film screenings of the works shown at Berlinale 2014 competition: "Way of the Cross" (Kreuzweg), directed by Dietrich Brüggemann, awarded with the Silver Bear for best screenplay and "Between Worlds" (Zwischen Welten), directed by Feo Aladag. There are two very different films, thus they show Germany's diversity. This allows you to see our western neighbours' cinematography development.

Most of the films have not been shown on screens of Polish  cinemas. All films will be presented in their original language with Polish subtitles.

German Film Week is staged at the Moskwa Cinema from 5 to 11 December.

All shows start at 18.00. The three of the following productions will also be on in morning sessions.  For more information contact the Moskwa Cinema.
