Only a fraction of this year's  Pontifical Council for Culture "Per Artem ad Deum" Medal laureates' rich and diversified achievement is put on show at the three-day trade SACROEXPO in Targi Kielce. Professor Wincenty Kućma  has brought to Kielce religious-art related sculptures. The German Herder Publishing House holds an exhibition which includes unique books which date back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries; these mainly theological, religious publications.

Professor Wincenty Kućma is one of the most prominent contemporary sculptors, medailleurs, sacred buildings interior designers. Although now based in Krakow, he was born in Zbilutka, in Kielce region.  Dozens of Professor Kućma's works  made mainly in bronze, basswood, black oak can be seen in Hall G. The SACROEXPO visitors are greatly impressed by, inter alia the bust of Christ sculpture, Rosary Doors relief, Our Lady of the Assumption Altar. These and many others have been collected at the Targi Kielce's exhibition. - The "Per Artem ad Deum" Medal and this exhibition are a great honour for me as an artist and man -  said Professor Wincenty Kućma during the exhibition assembly. - The works collected for this display, just like all the other works, have grown out of love.

The Freiburg's Herder Publishing exhibition is one of Germany's oldest companies of this kind, the display is set in the E Hall. Herder is ranked among German's leading publishers of theological, guide and advisory books; they actively support a dialogue between different cultures and traditions. - We are often referred to as the papal publishing house owing to the fact that we have released books by the successive popes - said Volker Resing, a representative of the publishing house during the exhibition opening ceremony. - The latest papal publications include: Pope Francis' encyclical with his commentary, John Paul II related books based on his private writings and reflections preserved by Cardinal Dziwisz.

The Targi Kielce's SACROEXPO exhibition is much more than the books of well-known authors - there are publications of personages representing the world of religion and science such as the Dalai Lama or Pope Benedict XVI. The Herder Publishing's exhibition is a display of glass-cabinets with centuries-old historical publications. The oldest book dates back to 1896. Many of these works have been decorated with original engravings.
