In the public transport domain every year brings a substantial change. New long-and short-term development strategies are implemented which in turn make a direct impact on what the bus and coach market looks like.   EvoBus Poland meets the trends;  every year EvoBus uses the  TRANSEXPO  the stage for its interesting offer crafted around the domestic carriers' needs and requirements. - This year we put on show our most important novelties - city buses and tourist coaches - says Antonio Cavotta,  EvoBus Poland President. - Citaro, our European best-seller - over 40,000 buses have already been sold. Now we present the version equipped with the new OM 936 engine. This vehicle will come to straight Kielce from the IAA Expo in Hanover - the bus has had its world première the Hanover show. Furthermore there will also be the first-time presentation of the 10.3 metre-long Tourismo K coach and a luxury Setra S 516 HDH bus branded with the Vip-Palm Travel Agency. This is our premier trio put on show in Kielce; the set reflects the latest trends both in urban and municipal transport as well as in tourist transport.

Citaro G - a smaller and lighter engine

Citaro G is a low-floor city bus with the engine capacity of 7.7 litres and 18.1 metre length. The articulated vehicle's drive-line has for the first time included the horizontal OM 936 Euro VI engine - 260 kW rated power (354 hp), which cooperates with automatic gearbox transmission ZF Ecolife. - "This is the example of the latest and cutting-edge technology sealed in a compact and at the same time economical power unit - Says Tomasz Talarek, director of sales for city buses and public procurement issues. - Furthermore, with a lower weight and less space for the engine compartment, the Citaro G has been expanded to include ten passenger seats more. It translates into substantial profits. Now we are able to offer our customers all types of city-buses with the same engine type; this is important later when it comes to servicing and maintenance. This year's TRANSEXPO will be the showcase for the Citaro G and the   "Bus Green Award 2014",   statue Mercedes-Benz has been awarded at the IAA Expo. This is an annual award which has been bestowed since 2011 by the German business-sector magazines "Omnibusrevue" and "Busfahrer". In the four-year period this accolade has been awarded to the Daimler Buses vehicles for three times .

Mercedes-Benz Tourismo K is pulling in.

Not only has the Euro VI standard made the the EvoBus introduce new engines, but also ... a shorter bus - Tourismo M. Targi Kielce will be the stage for its Polish première. This year has seen the launch of the Mercedes-Benz compact coach - with the length of 10.3 metres and the total weight of 18 tons it offers the passenger capacity of 41 people in 3-stars version. - A shorter Tourismo fills the niche between other Tourino models - ones with the 34 seats capacity and the Tourismo which normally offers the on-board capacity of 49 passengers. Now there comes the interesting "K" alternative. Tourismo K. -  many Polish road-transport carriers operate a whole array of buses whose capacity ranges between 30-40 seats. The new Mercedes-Benz offer is a classic hit-the-bull's-eye example.  - highlights Jerzy Fołda, Mercedes-Benz and Setra sales director for tourist buses.

"Her Majesty" - Setra TopClass 500

The TRANSEXPO and the Neu-Ulm based producer will not fall short on the family flagship  presentation - Setra TopClass 500; the vehicle put into serial production spring this year. The innovative Setra's coaches series sets the new standards; the assortment includes three three-axle buses of 12.5 m to 14.17 m length. These are S 515 HDH, S 516 HDH and S 517 HDH. What brings them together is a timeless design, supreme comfort and safety you have never seen before. Kielce will be the stage for the first-time public presentation of the recently unveiled S 516 HDH owned by the Vip-Palm Travel Agency. Its driveline system utilises the Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine with the 12.8-litre capacity and  375 kW (510 hp) power, it has also been equipped with the fully automated GO 250-8 PowerShift transmission. The   TopClass 500 vehicles feature the breakthrough technologies wherever you look.

BusStore - second-hand buses - sales competences

The Kielce's October fair will for the first time include an exhibition stand of the new Daimler Buses brand - the BusStore - the unit which specializes in the sale of second hand buses. Ever since it was put on the market it has provided an extreme variety buses which have been used and available in the European sales network. - "The offer includes much more than Mercedes-Benz and Setra vehicles, but also many other renowned manufacturers.
