ENEX 1999 - bringing the Polish energy sector closer to European standards

The 1998 ENEX International Power Industry Fair was pronounced the best expo debut. Now it is time to offer a flashback of ENEX' 99. The second expo had a positive influence on shaping the development directions for the energy sector.

88 Exhibitors from four countries (Poland, Israel, USA and Switzerland) participated in the 2nd International Power Industry Fair ENEX'99, from 19 to 21 October 1999. The then edition was organised by the Kielce Trade Fair Centre (now targi Kielce) in cooperation with the Energy and Environmental Protection Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Polish Society for the Transmission and Distribution of Electricity. The 2nd ENEX was also accompanied by industry events including  "Regulation of the electricity market" and a presentation on  "Information technology and privatisation in energy enterprises". In addition, the competition for "an outstanding product presented at the ENEX'99 International Power Industry Fair" was also a part of the agenda.

The 25th jubilee International Power Industry Fair ENEX and the 20th Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy ENEX - New Energy are held on 8 and 9 March 2023 in Targi Kielce. The event is accompanied by the EKOTECH International Environmental Protection and Waste Management Expo. The jubilee abounds with attractions prepared for visitors.

Rolls-Royce among reactors - technology discussed at Targi Kielce
The involvement of companies from Poland and Świętokrzyskie in the production SMR - Rolls-Royce small nuclear reactors was discussed at the Central Hydrogen Cluster conference during the Enex Expo in Kielce. The British concern cooperates with the Świętokrzyskie Industrial Group Industria on the implementation of hydrogen technology in Poland. The first reactor is to be built in 2032

A model of small modular reactors, an electrolyser and a mock-up of a mine with hydrogen infrastructure showcased at the ŚGP Industria expo stand at the Enex Expo
This year's ENEX welcomes Świętokrzyskie Industrial Group Industria - the leader of the Central Hydrogen Cluster; together with members of the Cluster they present the latest technologies and solutions. The 25th Enex Expo features the latest models of cars - electric, hybrid and hydrogen drive. Toyota, Lexus, Fiat, Mercedes, Mazda and Citroen on show at the Targi Kielce exhibition and expo centre.
