DISCUSSIONS ON THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES, CHANCES AND RISKS FOR EDUCATION

- Not only do we need to show positive aspects of the internet and new technologies use, we also need to demonstrate he threats - said Adam Jarubas, the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Marshal at the inauguration of 2nd edition of the European Education Forum - New Technologies & Innovations in Education

The experts were brought together in the Targi Kielce Congress Centre on Friday.  - The Kielce meeting refers to the Polish teaching's wonderful traditions.  Not always can innovations and new technologies be of good use in the education system, yet many of the latter have successfully been implemented - said Marshal Jarubas.

Then Świętokrzyskie Regional Chief Education Officer Mr Kazimierz Mądzik emphasized the fact that every school will have high speed internet access soon.  - This is achievable with the government's "Active Board" programs and the National Education Network. You have to consider the new technologies uses and what to do to avid the related threats- pointed out the Regional Chief Education Officer.

The day before the Targi Kielce's Congress Centre hosted the Vocational Education in a Dual System  Conference.   The Expo of Technologies & Equipment for Education has also been  open for public on Thursday and Friday.
