65 National Exhibition of Carrier Pigeons has brought together breeders from all across Poland

CROWDS OF CARRIER PIGEON LOVERS FLOOD IN TARGI KIELCE

120 km an hour for 700 km non stop

 ... That's the way carrier pigeons fly; Targi Kielce display at the 65th National Exhibition of Carrier Pigeons (January 9-11). Crowds of true pigeon lovers have been storming the exhibition halls ever since early morning. The visitors groups is mainly comprised of pigeon breeders who have come to Targi Kielce in order to meet, exchange experiences or to buy new squabs and necessary breeding accessories. The event is the showcase for almost two thousand most fit and sturdy pigeons. The Exhibition is organised by the Polish Association of Carrier Pigeons and the Polish Association of Carrier Pigeons - Kielce District.  Among the exhibitors there are guests from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

 At the exhibition, the jury panel have selected the pigeons which will then represent Poland at the 34th Pigeon Olympiad in Budapest The exhibition programme has also included the awarding ceremony of Poland's Champions in the General Championship and of Champions in particular categories for 2014.
