In 2013 the Swietokrzyskie Regional Development Bureau intends to support pre-school education and has thus announced contest held under the banner of “Levelling of social inequalities in pre-school education”. Owing to the project, new kindergarten facilities will be opened in 30% of the Voivodeship’s communes which represent the region’s lowest pre-school education saturation rate. The project objective is also to assist the existing institutions so that they become more available owing to a higher number of kindergarten places, which in turn will result in the increase of the total number of places at the pre-school education institutions.

The Swietokrzyskie Regional Development Bureau is to take further measures to support the pre-school education as a part of systemic project focused on infant schools’ preschool and nursery units’ modernisation. The project encompasses unit modernisation, accommodation and refurbishment as well as playground creation.
