In early May, Classicauto Cup season began with the meeting held at the Miedziana Góra racetrack. The "classics" competing on the racecourse brought together 152 cars! With the new track configuration, the longest and fastest attempt in history has been set. Special prizes to mark this occasion have been sponsored by Targi Kielce and Mintex - distributor of sports braking systems.

The event was also an excellent opportunity to promote then new "automotive" exhibitions which in the autumn will be held for the first time in Targi Kielce. APAE - The International Automotive Parts and Accessories Expo will provide visitors with a chance to become familiar with  a wide array of products and services, ranging from engines, body parts, radiators, air conditioners, batteries, through electrical and electronic equipment, alarm and anti-theft systems, varnishes and car windows ending. The display will not fall short of products for vehicle cleaning and maintenance, design, security and tuning. The leading publishing house of the automotive industry will also mark their presence at the expo.

The first International Rubber and Tyre Expo is also to be held at the same time.  On their stands  manufacturers and distributors will put on display everything that is related to vehicles' wheel and tyres. Thus the offers will include tyres for passenger cars, buses, trucks and trailers. There will also be ample of tyres for all types of equipment and machines, including earthmoving, construction, road-construction, agricultural and industrial applications.  The expo product assortment will also include wheels and rims, inner tubes and tyre repair materials complemented with comprehensive equipment for tyre-services. The expo product and service range also includes rubber.
