Bound for a space adventure!

Yesterday we learned the results of the first edition of the Al Worden Endeavor Scholarship Program in Poland. Already this July - a week-long training at US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville - Alabama/United States for four students from Poland

Already this July - a week-long training at US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville - Alabama/United States for  Zuzanna Kassner, Beniamin Kopiec, Tobiasz Dąbrowski, Aleksandra Skrocka and the group's guardian Anna Bukiewicz-Szul.

Twenty students from all over Poland took part in the final of the competition, which had its Polish beginning during last year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition. The entrants competed in two rounds under the watchful eye of the jury panel. The tasks was to design and build a model of the lunar lander, which was then tested live.

The organizer of the program - the AI Worden The Endeavor Scholarship foundation; the partners of the Polish edition - Targi Kielce SA and the Polish Space Agency. The content partner of the finals - the Copernicus Science Centre.

In 2023, the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition inaugurated the "Al Worden Endeavor Scholarship" project in the Republic of Poland. The project objective is to encourage young people from our country to work as engineers and space explorers. The project finals is when 4 students and a teacher are selected to participate in a week-long training for astronauts in the Space & Rocket Center in the United States
