Asia - demystified On trends in China, Singapore and India markets discussed at Slavic B2Beauty at Targi Kielce [PHOTOS]

Natural, ecological and targeted at a specific consumer - these features of the cosmetic products are valued by Asian clients; this is the oppinion aired out by the experts from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, . The specialists discussed the markets in China, Singapore and Shanghai in detail; the second contracting expo for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry Slavic B2Beauty at Targi Kielce, was the occasion to give thorough market insight

Contracting event for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry Slavic B2Beauty attracted 46 companies producing cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and packaging, as well as almost 80 buyers from Asia, Europe and Africa. Targi Kielce is the home for the beauty business on 13 and 14 June . Business talks aim to find a new market for the producers and a unique product for the buyers.

The event has been enhanced by the specialists' lectures from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, who discussed how the institution works and what help foreign trade offices provide. - We're like a matchmaker. We help Polish companies meet relevant foreign companies,  we develop and offer possibilities, we familiarise ourselves with other markets. It depends on the interests of parties themselves whether they will be able to establish cooperation - said Stella Smejda, supervisor of the cosmetics industry section when speaking on behalf of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Przemysław Zaręba, head of the Foreign Trade Office in Mumbai, presented the potential of the cosmetics market in India.  Maja Justyna, Business Development Manager from the Foreign Trade Office in Singapore, advised on clients' expectations and the possibilities of entering this market. She emphasized the importance of targeting specific products at specific consumers to meet their needs.  

 

Aleksandra Smolak, Business Development Manager from the Foreign Trade Office in Shanghai, presented the Chinese market. She discussed in detail the obstacles for Polish producers. – Each product must have names and descriptions in Chinese, labelling requirements must be met. All imported cosmetics must be registered with the National Medical Products Administration - said the speaker.

 

Each expert pointed out that moisturizing and sun protection cosmetics are in demand in Asia; this is strictly related to the climate. – Natural and ecological products are in demand;  this is also a global trend - emphasized Przemysław Zaręba, head of the Foreign Trade Office in Mumbai.
