Roofs and façades in the architectural spotlight

How can we design in a way that is modern, responsible and makes the most of the latest technology? How can roofs and façades be given a new purpose and character? The answers will be on offer at the Architects’ Forum, taking place on the opening day of Roof Forum 2027.

Held under the patronage of SARP, the event will offer an insight into current trends in architecture, inspiring projects and solutions being used in construction today.

The theme of the forum will be the roof and façade in the many contexts of contemporary architecture. Topics will include creative approaches to design, the reuse of existing structures, sustainability and case studies of notable architectural projects.

AI and BIM in design practice.

The Architects’ Forum is about more than inspiring talks: participants will also take away practical know-how they can put to use in their day-to-day work.

The agenda includes workshops on using artificial intelligence (AI) and BIM technology in design. Participants will discover what modern tools can do to streamline the design process, support the evaluation of options and make documentation easier.

Presentations of work by leading architectural practices and discussions on where contemporary architecture is heading will also be an important part of the event.
