STOP celebrates its 80th anniversary!

2016 marks the 80th anniversary of the Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen STOP and Przegląd Odlewniczy [Foundry Review]. The Association is a highly-valued partner and co-organizer of the METAL expo ever since the trade-show was created.  Owing to the STOP Association efforts, can be Polish foundry business sector has been effectively promoted on the international arena.  

70th jubilee of the Foundry Research Institute

In 2016 the Krakow-based Foundry Research Institute also celebrates - the Institute was founded 70 years ago. Since its establishment, the Institute has been Poland's leading research unit which works for the foundry industry. Its scientific achievements and innovative developments are have gained world-wide recognition in casting industry.

25 years of Silum Foundry  

The Opojowice-based Silum Foundry celebrates 25th anniversary this year. The foundry operating in Wielun region has been a long-time exhibitor at METAL. The company's main business activity is production of pressure castings. Many well-known international brands are Silum's clients.  The foundry has been won numerous expo accolades for products put on display at Kielce trade show.
