The Boxing Trade Show is once again showing how the sport can bring generations together. On Friday, 18 September, Targi Kielce welcomed boxers, coaches, club representatives, equipment manufacturers and fans from across Poland. The youngest participants are proving a particular draw – the hall is packed with children and young people who train in boxing, for whom meeting champions and legends of the ring is one of the highlights of the event. Even before the event, the Polish Boxing Association announced that the Olympic Boxing Academy alone would bring together more than 1,000 young participants.

One of the stars of the opening day is Andrzej Gołota. A meeting with the Polish boxing legend drew huge interest from participants, with plenty of opportunities for photographs, conversations and autographs. Gołota’s appearance is part of a much wider programme of meetings with boxing stars. Other guests announced for this year’s edition include Dariusz Michalczewski, Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk and Krzysztof Głowacki.

More Than Just Boxing to Watch

This year’s event combines a trade show exhibition with plenty of sporting action. Visitors can explore the products and services offered by companies from the boxing industry, take part in meetings and training sessions, enjoy the activity zones and watch live boxing action. Matches in the Polish Boxing League are also an important part of the programme.

The VI Polish Boxing Forum and International Boxing Industry Trade Show continue at Targi Kielce until Saturday, 19 September. Two days of meetings bring together the entire boxing community – from the youngest competitors taking their first steps in the ring to the names that have already made their mark on the history of Polish boxing.
