The Boxing Expo is on

World-famous fighters, fights in four rings, a rich offer of sports companies, and interesting discussions - the 1st International Boxing Industry Expo organised by the Polish Boxing Association in cooperation with the Kielce exhibition and congress centre continues until Sunday.

The International Boxing Industry Expo makes history. The participation of exhibitors from all over Europe and national and world boxing stars - this is just a part of the National Olympic Boxing Day celebration.

The gala opening on Friday at 11 a.m. was attended by Deputy Minister of Sport Anna Krupka, who expressed her satisfaction that such an important event was taking place in Kielce, the city of the former great boxer, the late Ring Wizard - Leszek Drogosz. Another legendary Polish boxer, Andrzej Gołota, who came especially from the United States for this occasion, participates in the event, next to  Tomasz Adamek, Albert Sosnowski, Mariusz Wach and Wojciech Bartnik with the national team.

Friday at 5:00 p.m. marks the concert of Popek, a rapper and martial arts fighter, Popek trained in England and Poland.

There are also many attractions for boxing fans on Saturday. The event starts at 11 a.m. and ends around 5 p.m.

- We meet on Saturday for a joint training session at 3 p.m. at Targi Kielce. We look forward to seeing anyone who is interested. The classes will be conducted by our masters, headed by Andrzej Gołota, Tomasz Adamek, Marian Kasprzyk and many, many others. A special certificate is granted for each joint-training participant. One can also register on Saturday, i.e. on the day when we try to break the Polish record in the number of people practising boxing at the same time. It's our dream to gather as many boxing fans as possible - said Grzegorz Nowaczek, president of the Polish Boxing Association.
