31. Agrotech and the 25th Las-Expo have officially commenced! The opening ceremony of the events

13 March 2026
The official opening of the 31st International Fair of Agricultural Technology, Agrotech 2026, and the 25th Timber Industry and Forest Resources Management Fair, Las-Expo, was held on Friday, 13 March, in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, institutions associated with agriculture and forestry, exhibitors, and guests.

The trade fair was opened by Marek Cieśliński, director general of the ministry, on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Stefan Krajewski. Andrzej Mochoń, PhD, President of the Board, Targi Kielce SA, welcomed the guests of honour and visitors.

The Agrotech agricultural technology fair and the Las-Expo wood industry fair are held annually and bring together professionals in the agricultural and forestry industries. The first day of the trade fair witnessed the official opening ceremony of both exhibitions. As usual, the shows will last until Sunday, 15 March.

Andrzej Mochoń, PhD, President of the Board, Targi Kielce SA, welcomed the guests of honour and visitors.

The construction of the new expo hall forced us to increase the number of temporary halls. This year, we are using all six permanent halls and as many as five temporary ones, said the president of Targi Kielce.

The President thanked all those who support Polish agriculture for their presence and referred to the Mercosur agreement currently being implemented; he also announced a forum taking place for the first time at Agrotech.

I think we all want to increase the competitiveness of Polish agriculture, knowing that we are facing difficult times related to the launch of the Mercosur agreement. At the same time, it is an opportunity. We wanted to balance Mercosur a bit; we considered other continents. I want to announce that we have prepared an interesting event, the Agro Africa B2B Forum, during which over 50 entrepreneurs from several African countries will come to Kielce. Lectures for Polish entrepreneurs, advising them on how to enter the African market, are part of the agenda; pre-arranged meetings will be held between interested Polish entrepreneurs and recipients of our products in the African market, informed Dr Andrzej Mochoń.

The President encouraged people to visit the exhibition and take advantage of the new agricultural technologies offered.

This year, there are over 500 companies at the Agrotech Expo, and the exhibition is truly impressive. I wish you a pleasant stay at the fair, fruitful discussions, getting the most out of it, finding that dream tractor and negotiating the best possible prices. Have a good three days in Kielce.

The gala opening of the Agrotech and Las-Expo culminated in the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Marek Cieśliński’s formal commencement.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am very pleased to be able to represent the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Stefan Krajewski, at the opening of the trade fair. Due to the vote in the Sejm, he could not attend the event, but as planned, he will be in Kielce this afternoon.

The ministry representative emphasised the importance of the Agrotech fair and its significance for the agricultural industry, and then officially opened the exhibition.
