KAMO Sp. z o.o. is a family-run company founded in 1991, specializing in the development of innovative heating systems designed specifically for sacred buildings. Our solutions are created with a deep understanding of the unique needs of churches, where the thermal comfort of the congregation during services is an absolute priority.
We provide efficient heating mats which deliver warmth directly to worshippers, offering outstanding energy efficiency as a result.
Unlike many competing systems, which are often adaptations of residential or industrial heating technologies, the KAMO heating system was designed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of people present in churches.
Our heating mats provide warmth directly to the bodies of parishioners and clergy, ensuring immediate thermal comfort from the very first moments inside the church. This rapid response not only protects against getting cold but also significantly reduces energy loss.
The energy consumption of the KAMO system is exceptionally low – during a one-hour Mass, it averages only 10 watts per person. To illustrate, heating 200 seats for one hour consumes just 2 kWh – the equivalent of boiling a single kettle of water. Importantly, once warmed, people no longer lose body heat and begin to emit warmth themselves – approximately 150 watts of thermal energy per person – which further contributes to improving the temperature within the church. We provide a guarantee for this level of energy efficiency and consumption.
Both the heating mats and control devices are entirely designed and manufactured in-house, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of the system.
We install our heating systems in parishes throughout Poland and abroad, tailoring each project to the dimensions of the benches and the unique architectural conditions and requirements of each church. Our solutions are not only practical and efficient but also harmoniously integrate into the sacred character of church interiors. Our oldest installation, which has been operating continuously and without failure for over 25 years, is located in the Church of St. Hyacinth (Św. Jacek Odrowąż) in Straszyn — a testament to the durability and reliability of the KAMO system.
