HP PA12 is a special type of Polyamide 12 (PA12), which has been developed by HP specifically for 3D printing. PA12 is a popular material in 3D printing due to its strength, flexibility, and wide range of applications. HP PA12 is characterized by excellent mechanical strength, good bending strength, impact resistance, and excellent resistance to many chemicals, oils, and fuels. These properties make it an ideal material for the production of durable and reliable parts in many different industry sectors, such as automotive, aviation, medical, and others.

PA12 - SLS
PA12 - SLS
Polyamide 12 is exceptionally resistant to abrasion, impacts, and mechanical stresses, making it an ideal material for producing parts that must withstand tough conditions. Moreover, PA12 is highly resistant to oils, fuels, many chemicals, and UV radiation, making it an ideal material for outdoor applications. In the context of 3D printing, PA12 is often used in SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology. Thanks to this technology, parts printed with PA12 are characterized by an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and outstanding precision of details. Additionally, these parts can be easily modified after printing, for example, through painting, gluing, or coating.

PA12GB, also known as Polyamide 12 Glass Beads, is a variant of PA12, enriched with microscopic glass beads. This material is characterized by excellent stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability, which results in high precision and durability of printed parts. Glass beads increase resistance to impact, wear, and improve thermal properties. In 3D printing, PA12GB is often used in SLS technology, for the production of precise mechanical parts, prototypes, tools, and even ready-to-use products.

PA2210FR - SLS
PA2210FR, also known as Fire Retardant Polyamide 2210, is a specific variant of Polyamide 2210 (PA2210) that has been modified to be fire-resistant. This material is often used in the 3D printing industry, especially where there is a need to meet rigorous fire safety standards. PA2210FR is characterized by excellent mechanical strength, impact resistance, and dimensional stability, which translates into high precision of printed parts. Additionally, PA2210FR also retains resistance to chemicals, oils, and fuels. The key difference, however, is an additional property - fire resistance in accordance with the UL-94 V0 standard. This makes PA2210FR particularly attractive for the aviation, automotive, and all kinds of applications that require compliance with fire safety standards.
