Military Telescopic Handlers – Engineered for Mission-Critical Operations
As a core strategic focus, NORDMEYER is a leading manufacturer of two specialized telescopic handler models “ORION I and V“, developed exclusively for the military. These machines are designed to achieve maximum compactness and roughness in unpredictable environments and different climate conditions.

ORION I:
The Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is a tactical mobile machine designed to handle pallets and heavy bulk loads or to transport them over short distances in an efficient, agile and versatile way.
Furthermore the MHE is convoy capable highway > 40mph and it is also designed to load and unload 20‘ Containers in 2 rows.

- Load capacity: 4.000 kg
- Lifting height: 7.055 mm (Forks)
- 4WD machine able to work in all type of ground conditions
- All European railway loading dimensions are fulfilled
- Speed: 40 mph, Water cooled Deutz Diesel engine TCD 2013 L04 2V
- Capable to stuff and unload 1.1 t pallets into ISO containers on two levels, or a single 2 t pallet

ORION V (NSN: 3930-12-379-1047):
The reach-stacker is equipped with the latest technology and are suitable for military operations worldwide e.g. through all-wheel drive, all wheel brakes and highest ground clearence.
It is able to stack containers (20ʼ ISO) with a capacity of up to 16 tons in the 2nd row and up to 24 tons in the 1st row.
Due the compact design it can be transported on flatbed trailers, on railway as sea cargo and airplains (SALIS).
