Zakłady Mechaniczne "Tarnów" S.A. is a renowned domestic manufacturer of armaments and military equipment, operating continuously since 1917. The company is part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and specializes in the design and production of modern weapon systems, including:
• Semi-automatic, machine, and sniper rifles in calibers ranging from 7.62 mm to 12.7 mm – intended both for individual use and for integration with carriers (vehicles, boats, remotely controlled weapon systems),
• 40 mm revolver grenade launchers – compatible with NATO-standard ammunition,
• 60 mm mortars – capable of delivering semi-direct and indirect fire,
• Remotely controlled weapon modules (RCWS) – adapted for integration with land and naval platforms,
• Artillery and missile anti-aircraft systems – including 23 mm caliber cannons,
• Mobile container shooting ranges – adapted for training with live ammunition.
One of the company’s key products is the PSR-A PILICA anti-aircraft system, which forms the basic element of the lowest tier of the integrated, multi-layered air defense system of the Polish Armed Forces.
